Hawkesbury Canoe Classic - participate, volunteer or sponsor a paddler

The Hawkesbury Classic logo

Since its conception in 1977, the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic has raised over $3.5 million for medical research, with Arrow being the major beneficiary of research funding. The event, which is a challenging 111km overnight paddle from Windsor to Brooklyn, has grown significantly since 1977 with around 600 paddlers taking part each year. Their land crew and hundreds of volunteers meet on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Windsor each year to support the paddlers.

The event is open to anyone with a suitable craft and safety equipment, and first time paddlers are welcome. Get involved this year by participating, volunteering or sponsoring a paddler.

This year's paddle will take place on the 24th October, 2015. For more information visit: www.canoeclassic.asn.au
