A challenging goal set by Paul Seshold whilst undergoing a bone marrow transplant for leukaemia was accomplished on the 23rd June, 2014, with the generous support of friends, family and the Life Cycling team.
Paul, together with his wife Elizabeth, son Oliver Thorn-Seshold, and good friends Scot Hawker and David Blackett, took on one of the world's steepest cycling climbs to raise funds for an exciting medical research study that aims to provide an alternative for patients unable to find a bone marrow donor match.
Of the $190,000 raised by Life Cycling, $95,000 has been donated to Arrow to fund a promising clinical trial that will increase the chances of finding a bone marrow donor match for transplant patients.
