Tracey Scone Wig Library
Patients often tell us that wearing a wig helps to boost their confidence and gives them more strength to face the everyday challenges of cancer treatment.
That’s why we set up the Tracey Scone Wig Library, as part of our quest to try and make your treatment journey a little easier.
We have high-quality wigs in a large range of colours, lengths and styles for you to choose from – and you can borrow one, totally free of charge, for as long as you need it.
To make an appointment email firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: All appointments are to be made via email. The service is available on Friday’s only – and the Wig Library is temporarily located in the Wellness Centre at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre, Victoria Road, Darlinghurst.
If you’re thinking about visiting our wig library, you may also be interested in ‘Look Good Feel Better’ – a national community service program for men, women and teens to help you manage the appearance-related side-effects of cancer treatment.
You’ll get to take part in a practical workshop that covers skincare, make-up and headwear demonstrations, leaving you empowered and ready to face your cancer diagnosis with confidence.
To register for a workshop visit www.lgfb.org.au or call 1800 650 960.
