Healthcare Provider stories

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Australia and New Zealand Transplant and Cellular Therapies (ANZTCT) to offer up to three bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and/or cellular therapy (CT) fellows or trainees the opportunity to complete a national registry study focussed on disease specific BMT outcomes in the 2024 clinical year.

The Arrow scholarship will provide travel financial support for those with an interest in or commitment to the field of BMT/CT to come to the ANZTCT Registry in Sydney for training, support and mentorship to complete a study on BMT outcomes. You will be given an orientation on the registry and guidance on how to develop a publication plan for the Australasian data. Successful applicants will also be supported with a statistician and ANZTCT registry staff to meet conference abstract deadlines and publication.

These projects will require excellent organisation and communication skills as they are collaborative studies that will include multiple centres across Australia and New Zealand. Previous publication experience is desirable but not essential.

Arrow is proud to be involved in this project working with the ANZTCT Registry which was first established and funded by Arrow over 30 years ago. Since this time the data registry has collated critical information on over 35,000 patient transplants from transplant centres across Australia and New Zealand. This project will enable data to be extracted from the registry and meaningful information published on BMT outcomes by disease contributing to the knowledge base of medical research in bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies.
