A Creative Community Making a Big Difference

Bellarine Sewing Centre Raises $2,000 for Arrow
Last month, more than 85 women from the Bellarine Sewing Centre community travelled from across the region to come together for Tee Time—a vibrant day of sewing, crafting, laughter and connection, shared over delicious food and refreshments.
The room was filled with colour and creativity, and the generosity of the group was just as impressive. Through the sale of beautiful fabrics, festive Christmas creations and raffle tickets, the community raised an incredible $2,000 in support of Arrow.
A special thank you goes to Brother, who generously donated a brand‑new Scan and Cut Machine as the major raffle prize—an exciting addition for one very lucky attendee.
Arrow’s Angela and her daughter Maddie were honoured to be part of the day, sharing their family’s personal experience with bone marrow transplant. Many in the room also shared their own stories, creating a powerful sense of understanding and solidarity.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bellarine Sewing Centre and this wonderfully generous community for your ongoing support. Your kindness helps us continue our work supporting patients and families through the challenges of bone marrow and stem cell transplant.
And stay tuned—together with these amazing women, we’re working on a very special patient care project that we look forward to revealing next year!
