Arrow Foundation Celebrates ASX Markets Day for Charity 2025

On 18 November 2025, Australia’s financial community came together for the sixth annual ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation Markets Day for Charity — an event that once again demonstrated the impact collective goodwill can have.
For one day of trading, ASX, nabtrade, and other participating financial institutions donated their trading and brokerage fees for the day to the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation.
As a beneficiary of the ASX Foundation, Arrow was honoured to have been part of this incredible event, and stand alongside market participants, investors, brokers and financial institutions, united in the goal of giving back.
Highlights from the Day
The day began with the ringing of the bell at the ASX’s new Martin Place premises, marking the official start of trading. The event even featured a live cross on Channel Nine’s Today Show, giving national coverage to this important day.

Our Fundraising and Partnerships Manager, Kags Garrard, spoke at the event, sharing the impact of Arrow’s work supporting bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients, and how the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation’s loyal support over the past three years has made a real difference.
A milestone year: Over $1 million raised

Thanks to the generosity and participation of so many, this year’s Markets Day raised over A$1,032,092 — a tremendous achievement and a testament to what can be achieved when an entire industry rallies for good.
All proceeds from the day support 18 charities working across women’s, children’s, disability, and medical-research causes, including the Arrow Foundation.
Why Markets Day matters (and why Arrow is grateful)
Markets Day isn’t just about raising funds – its a powerful moment of connection between corporate and community. For charities like our, the event represents:
- A chance to raise significant funds to support our mission
- A platform to increase awareness of stem cell transplants and the challenges patients face – and the difference that support can make
- An opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with corporate partners, financial institutions, and supporters of all kinds.
Looking ahead: What’s next for ASX & how you can get involved
For many years, the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation has been a supporter of Arrow and other charities across Australia. Through a varied calendar of fundraising events — including Markets Day, Charity Golf, Regattas, Race Days and more — they have built a legacy of giving and impact.
Next on the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation fundraising calendar are the 2026 Golf Classic on 19-20 February 2026 at Pennant Hills Golf Club, followed by the Imagination Ball on 27 February 2026 at The Hyatt Regency, Sydney.
The Golf Classic is the biggest and best charity golf event in Asia Pacific with over 300 golfers teeing off over two days. Each player receives a players pack with a cap, golf balls and umbrella, and there are exciting activations with food, drink, and prizes at every single hole. The golf day concludes with a celebratory BBQ and bar at the 19th hole. To register a team, sponsor or volunteer for the Golf Classic, contact the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation here.
