At Arrow, we are incredibly grateful to the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation for their unwavering support of Australian-based children, disability, and medical research charities. Through a variety of fundraising events and auctions, the Foundation has raised over $36 million, making a significant difference in the lives of many. We are proud to be one of their selected benefiting charities for the 2024/25 year and to be part of their well-organised and well-attended fundraising events.

The first event in the calendar is the Horse Race Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse in July. This event brings together over 600 guests for an exciting day of champagne luncheons, sponsored races, and a charity auction. This lively event raises crucial funds for charitable causes, and Arrow had the privilege of attending and contributing to its success. The atmosphere was electric, the races were thrilling, and the live entertainment – including the much-anticipated Fashions on the Field competition – ensured the day was both memorable and impactful. We are grateful for the opportunity to be involved in this fantastic event and thank our supporters who attended and contributed to it’s success.

The next event in October in the calendar is the hugely successful Markets Trading Day for Charity. This impactful event, led by the ASX and nabtrade, provides financial institutions with the opportunity to come together and raise funds for charitable causes by donating a portion of their trading revenue from the day. Arrow was proud to participate in this day, being present at the ringing of the bell for the opening trade, and witnessing the financial community come together to make a significant impact on those in need.

Looking ahead, two of the Foundation’s signature events are just around the corner—the Golf Classic on the 20th & 21st of February and the Black Tie Dinner on 28th of February. The Golf Classic, an 18-Hole Ambrose tournament held annually at Pennant Hills Golf Club, is one of the most anticipated charity golf events in the Asia Pacific region, drawing over 300 players each year. Following the Golf Classic, the Black Tie Dinner (Imagination Ball) will be held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, welcoming up to 600 guests for an elegant evening of entertainment, raffles, and auctions. This event always promises an unforgettable evening of giving, and we are excited to be part of the online auction at the event, providing us with another wonderful opportunity to raise funds for Arrow.

Last but not least, is the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation raffle, where you can win a car! This year’s first prize is a Mazda 2 automatic hatchback valued at $27,000. Second and third prizes include a Macbook Air valued at $1,599 and an Apple Watch Series 9 valued at $809. All proceeds from this raffle, sold by Arrow, are donated to Arrow, and with ticket sales closing at midnight on Friday 21st March 2025, we encourage you to buy a ticket in support of bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients.

These events – ranging from the Golf Classic and Black Tie Dinner to the Horse Race Day, Sailing Regatta, Markets Trading Day and major raffle- demonstrate the immense effort, dedication and passion of the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation each year. We are deeply thankful to the Foundation for providing the opportunity to benefit from these events and for the invaluable support they provide charities like ours. The Foundation’s tireless commitment to creating positive change is truly inspiring, and we are honored to be part of this incredible journey.
