The Blood 2019 Conference hosts international speakers with expertise and knowledge in the field of haematology.

Thanks to the Shaun Rosen Scholarship, nurses Ide Iwin and Mary Hayes from St Vincent’s Hospital were sponsored to attend the conference in Perth this October, with their travel and accommodation costs covered.

Ide Irwin anticipated the benefits of attending the conference saying “Education that I gain on this conference, I can pass on to my colleagues and in turn this will benefit our patients. Knowing what is going on internationally will open my mind to new treatments. It will be a positive experience meeting other like minded people working in the field which will help me grow professionally and personally”.
