It’s time to pop the (non-alcoholic) champagne and say a big THANK YOU to Dry July and everyone who participated to support Arrow in the 2024 campaign.

It was our first ever Dry July here at Arrow, and we were left reeling with amazement at the support we received through your fundraising efforts: $45,000 raised to help cancer patients receiving bone marrow or stem cell transplants through our patient support program. Patients like Aamu!!

And with that said, it’s now time to remind you that Dry July 2025 is open for registrations! Here’s how it works:

 

Tips for getting through

  • If you often enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, or a beer after mowing the lawn, here are our top two tips to start on now that will help you get through the month:
  • Prepare alternative “treats” to reward yourself. Have a few mocktail recipes and some delicious but non-alcoholic drinks on hand as substitutes for your usual alcoholic bevvies. Dry July have some great mocktails on their website
  • If you need to remove the temptation, ask a friend to store your alcohol at their place for the month
  • Offer to be the designated driver for any events you have coming up in July
  • OR if you have an event where you really want to be able to share a drink with friends, ask one of them to buy you a golden ticket. That way you get a night off and you raise extra funds for those with cancer.
