Why Regular Giving Matters
Arrow Foundation receives no government funding. Every patient we support, every healthcare professional we invest in through scholarships, and every piece of research we fund is made possible entirely through the generosity of people like you.
A one-off donation is incredibly valued, but a regular gift provides something equally important: certainty.
When we have consistent, reliable income, we can plan ahead, expand our programs, and ensure support is available whenever patients and families need it. It means that when someone receives a life-changing diagnosis and reaches out to Arrow, we can stand beside them throughout their stem cell transplant journey.
Each year, around 2,000 Australians undergo a bone marrow or stem cell transplant. Today, Arrow supports around 500 patients and their families annually, but we know there are many more who could benefit from our support.
Through Friends of Arrow, we’re working towards supporting even more patients and families during one of the most challenging times of their lives.
That is what makes our Friends of Arrow community so powerful. Your monthly gift, no matter the size, gives us the certainty to keep showing up for patients and families when they need us most.
Celebrating Our Existing Supporters
We recently had the privilege of hosting an intimate gathering to celebrate the growth of Friends of Arrow.
The evening brought together some of our existing monthly donors and major supporters. It was a wonderful opportunity to thank them, recognise their commitment, and celebrate the community that is helping sustain Arrow’s work.
Seeing this community come together in one room was incredibly special and a powerful reminder of what collective generosity can achieve.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who already supports Arrow through a regular monthly donation. Friends of Arrow is our way of recognising and growing this community of committed supporters who make our work possible.
Help Us Welcome 25 Friends of Arrow by 30 June
With 30 June just around the corner, there has never been a better time to make your giving count.
Our goal is to welcome 25 Friends of Arrow by the end of June. Every new monthly donor helps build a stronger foundation for the future and enables Arrow to reach more patients and families in need.
Setting up a regular gift now means your first contribution falls within this financial year. As donations of $2 or more to Arrow are tax-deductible in Australia, joining before 30 June could be a meaningful way to support patients while making the most of your end-of-financial-year giving.
