We would like to thank outgoing director Leonie Wilcox for her long standing role as board member of Arrow. Leonie joined the Arrow board in 2007 and over the past 16 years has volunteered her time and knowledge to support bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients.

In Leonie’s role as Manager of the ANZTCT Data Registry Leonie has provided invaluable insight and knowledge of bone marrow transplant recipients and made key connections for Arrow to doctors, nurses, data analysts and other healthcare professionals working in bone marrow transplant (BMT) across the country.

More recently we had the pleasure of working with Leonie at the annual Blood Conference and the ANZTCT Conference where Leonie helped us raise our profile within the medical community. Leonie has also been particularly instrumental in supporting Arrow over the past few years during a change in the Arrow board. She has remained a constant during this time, supporting Arrow in its new direction and strategy, and chairing our newly established Patients and Programs Committee.

At our recent Annual General Meeting, Leonie announced her retirement from the board. We are grateful for Leonie’s contribution and service to Arrow over many years and look forward to continuing to work with Leonie in her ongoing role as a member of our Programs and Patients Committee.
