Transplant Tribe

Transplant Tribe is our online peer support group for people who are about to undergo, or are recovering from, a bone marrow or stem cell transplant – and for the carers and family members supporting them.

It provides a welcoming space to ask questions, share stories, and support each other.

Meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday from 5pm – 6pm.

“Transplant Tribe has given me a great sense of belonging, being heard and being part of an understanding community. Arrow are fantastic in leading our transplant community tribe chat each month. I feel like I’m not alone or the only one anyone more.” – Serina

“Transplant tribe helped me a lot when I was feeling very down after my stem cell transplant.  Being able to meet and talk to people who have gone through the same experience meant that I wasn’t alone in my journey.  Not being alone on my journey has been the biggest help from Transplant Tribe.  Listening to others encourages me to keep on going.” – Linda

“I am on watch and wait for an allogenic stem cell transplant. I really look forward to the monthly transplant tribe online meeting. I truly value listening to the experiences of others who have had a stem cell transplant. I value listening to the recipient’s helpful tips and strategies they share that helped get them through the transplant process. Listening to their experiences really gives me hope and helps keep me positive.” – Helen

“The Tribe is a place where statistics, medications, protocols, survival rates, etc. are replaced by real living people, journeying together and supporting each other on the adventure of humanity.” – David

“Tonight was a great catch up, it just shows how we can have similar journeys but our own experiences are so unique!!!!!” – Jenny

“Just a quick thank you for leading the Transplant Tribe session last night I thoroughly enjoyed the hour of chat and laughter.” – Serina
