The Sydney Marathon 2026 was more than a race — it was a celebration of courage, community and the incredible impact people can make when they run with purpose. This year, our Team Arrow runners took on the challenge to raise awareness and vital funds for patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants, one of the toughest journeys anyone can face.
And together, they achieved something extraordinary.
$90,000 Raised for Transplant Patients
Through months of training, fundraising and sheer determination, Team Arrow has raised $90,000 to support transplant patients and their families. These funds help provide essential support services, research and resources that make a real difference during the most challenging moments of a patient’s life.
Every kilometre run and every dollar donated brings hope.
Meet Our 2026 Team Arrow Runners
Our 2026 Team Arrow runners: Yvonne, Min, Ebony, Manak, Kendra‑Lyn, Rolfe, Jeffery, Penny, Jorhey, Sid, Adam, Kylie‑Anne, Mark, Goncalo, Jasmine, Daniel, Sion, Ayrna, Daniel K‑M, Sukhveer and Amit – alongside our incredible fundraisers Ella and Stephen, poured their hearts into months of training, dedication and fundraising to support transplant patients. These amazing people showed up with purpose, pushed themselves through early‑morning runs, long training days and countless fundraising efforts, helping Arrow raise an extraordinary $90,000. Their commitment, strength and generosity made Sydney Marathon 2026 truly unforgettable.

A Day Filled With Energy, Purpose and Community
From the moment the sun rose over Sydney Harbour, the atmosphere was electric. Crowds lined the streets, cheering with pride as Team Arrow runners powered through each kilometre. Many carried personal stories of loved ones who had undergone transplant, while others ran simply to make a difference.
Throughout the day, Team Arrow runners shared reflections that captured the heart of the event:
I had such a blast! Was so fun hearing my name when I forgot you guys were going to be there and I didn’t know anyone on the course would know me! Such a boost! – Kendra
“Marathons are brutal. The training and commitment is full on. You have to respect the distance…. Its going to be tough and hurt, but it’s nothing compared to what Charlie (my son) will go through”- Adam
“What an incredible experience yesterday……The marathon was unforgettable, and seeing my retired St Vincent’s nurse volunteering was a real highlight. We’ve already promised each other we’ll be back again next year.”- Jenny
These moments reminded us why this marathon matters. Transplant is one of the hardest battles a patient will ever face, and raising awareness is just as important as raising funds.

Crossing the Finish Line
The finish line was a moment of triumph – a mix of exhaustion, pride and overwhelming emotion. Team Arrow runners embraced, celebrated and reflected on the impact they had made together.
They didn’t just complete a marathon. They helped change lives.
Thank You, Team Arrow
To every runner, fundraiser, donor and supporter: thank you for making Sydney Marathon 2026 a truly magical day. Your strength, generosity and heart continue to support patients when they need it most.
