Thank You, NIBA: A Powerful Day of Community, Connection and Impact

Arrow Foundation was honoured to be the charity partner at this year’s NIBA NSW Gala Lunch, an event that brought together industry leaders, colleagues and supporters for an afternoon of generosity and shared purpose. What unfolded in that room was nothing short of extraordinary.

Thanks to the compassion and commitment of NIBA members and attendees, an incredible $20,000 was raised to support Australians undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants. This contribution will allow Arrow to provide vital assistance to an additional 40 patients — ensuring they receive practical, emotional and financial support during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.

One of the most impactful moments of the day came from NIBA Member Adam Squire, who generously shared his family’s journey — from his son Charlie’s leukaemia diagnosis, through transplant, and into recovery.

Adam’s story reminded everyone in the room why this work matters. It highlighted the resilience of patients and families, the complexity of the transplant journey, and the importance of having strong support systems in place. Their courage left a lasting impression on all who attended, and we are deeply grateful for their willingness to speak so openly.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to NIBA for choosing Arrow Foundation as the charity partner and for championing our mission, every attendee whose generosity created meaningful and immediate impact, Adam and Charlie, for sharing their story with courage and honesty and The NIBA community whose support ensures transplant patients receive the care and dignity they deserve.

This partnership reflects the best of what community can achieve — compassion turned into action, and action turned into life‑changing support.

Arrow Foundation is committed to supporting the 2,000 Australians who undergo bone marrow and stem cell transplants each year. With NIBA’s contribution, we are able to reach more patients, strengthen our programs, and continue advocating for better outcomes nationwide.
